Convivium 33 Gallery

Convivium33 Gallery fills the nave of the former St. Josaphat Catholic Church, a 1915 building on East 33rd Street in Cleveland's St. Clair-Superior neighborhood. Gallery owner Alenka Banco bought the desanctified church in 2001 and spent two years renovating it, naming the gallery for the Latin word for celebration and feast. Convivium33 set out to show established local artists, and its dinners and concerts take place among the art. The building, known as Josaphat Arts Hall, also holds artists' studios.
