Cleveland Bagel Co. has one simple mission: to make something really great to eat, which for its bakers means a really great Cleveland-style bagel. Since they are inventing the style, they get to define it: an old-world bagel, carefully researched to recreate what a bagel used to be. The bagels are boiled and hand-rolled, smaller than most, not too doughy or sweet, full of flavor and chewy, with a crisp exterior.

The company has storefronts on Detroit Avenue in the Detroit Shoreway (its original shop) and on Carnegie Avenue in Midtown near the Cleveland Clinic, and its bagels are sold at coffee shops around Cleveland.
