Cleveland Vegan

Cleveland Vegan is an all-vegan cafe, bakery and catering company on Detroit Avenue in Lakewood. Laura Ross and Justin Gorski started it in 2012 as a small catering business in a rented commissary kitchen, then moved into their own space at 17112 Detroit Avenue the week before Thanksgiving in 2014.

It has since grown into a cafe open from breakfast through dinner, with an expanded bakery, a small plant-based charcuterie shop and a team of more than 40, and it is a preferred caterer at the Stan Hywet and Cuyahoga Valley National Park wedding venues. Its mission is to better the planet by reducing harm to animals, preserving resources and proving that vegan food can be fulfilling, flavorful and delicious.
