Coventry Village

Coventry Village is the business district along Coventry Road in Cleveland Heights, between Mayfield Road and Euclid Heights Boulevard. Most of its buildings went up in the streetcar era of the 1910s and 1920s, and in the late 1960s it became a gathering place for Cleveland's counterculture. It still leans into that spirit, calling itself Ohio's friendliest and funkiest neighborhood.

Within a five-minute stroll are about 20 independent places to eat and drink, bookstores, vintage and antique shops, and live music and comedy at venues such as the Grog Shop. The district is looked after by the Coventry Village Special Improvement District, formed in 1996, which also runs community events like its Halloween trick-or-treat along the street.
