Cleveland State University entrepreneurship center

About the organization

The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is Cleveland State University's home for entrepreneurship, based in the Monte Ahuja College of Business in downtown Cleveland. It brings students, faculty, alumni and the Northeast Ohio business community together to build an entrepreneurial mindset and turn ideas into economic and social impact.

The center runs the Weston Ideation Lab, made possible by a gift from Weston, Inc. and open to all CSU students, faculty, staff and alumni. Its programs include the entrepreneurship minor, Startup Vikes, the Founders Forum, the Community Innovation Challenge, a summer accelerator, the Morgan Startup Grant and Show Her the Money, and it is home to CSU's Small Business Development Center.

In October 2026 the university announced a new gift from the Ahuja Foundation and a plan to rename the college the Ahuja College of Business and Entrepreneurship.
