HNTRESS

Cleveland cowl label, now teluqi

About the organization

HNTRESS is a Cleveland women's wear label that Lauren Tamir, a first-generation Clevelander, started in 2020. It makes one piece, the HNTRESS cowl: a vest, scarf and hood in one, which the brand calls a patented sleeveless hooded pullover. Tamir took the idea from the garment Katniss Everdeen wears in The Hunger Games, works from home and has the cowls made by manufacturers in Cleveland and Columbus. For every 10 cowls sold, the label has given one away, usually to local women's shelters.

The brand has renamed itself teluqi and plans to relaunch in September 2027.
