John Carroll University entrepreneurship program

About the organization

John Carroll University's entrepreneurship program is based in the Edward M. Muldoon Center for Entrepreneurship, created in 1999 to give the program a permanent home at the Jesuit university in University Heights. Its goal is to inspire the campus and the communities around it to launch innovative change that creates value.

The entrepreneurship minor, open to students of every major, is one of the largest on campus and leans into social entrepreneurship in the Jesuit tradition. Students take ideas from concept to launch through LaunchNET, part of the Burton D. Morgan Foundation's NEOLaunchNET network, and through field projects, capstones and internships with Cleveland companies. Since 2017 the program has reached about 5,000 John Carroll students along with thousands of high school students.
