Svona Studio

Svona Studio is the Cleveland fine art studio of Shelly Svonavec, an abstract artist, teaching artist and educator who makes work to empathize and inspire. Founded in 2014, the studio spans ceramic installation, abstract painting, murals and public art, drawing on the forces of nature and on her connection to others through teaching. She often works intuitively and experimentally, hoping the work resonates with viewers' own experiences.

Svonavec began as a high school art teacher and has since taught thousands of people across the city. Svona Studio offers workshops, private sessions and commissions, and sells ceramics online.
