The Agrarian Collective
Earth-to-table mobile cooking school
About the organization
The Agrarian Collective was an earth-to-table mobile school and kitchen in Northeast Ohio, founded by Kelli Hanley and launched on Earth Day 2013 after she went through the spring session of the Bad Girl Ventures program for women entrepreneurs. Its small, hands-on workshops aimed to reconnect students with the lost skills of the home through the garden, pantry, kitchen and table.
With a handcrafted mobile kitchen, classes taught by local chefs, farmers, food artisans and small business owners met on farms, at local businesses and in private homes. Programs included the Field Kitchen, the Edible Thursdays series with Edible Cleveland, a Holiday Flea and private gatherings.
