The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame & Museum

Music museum on Cleveland's lakefront

About the organization

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is a nonprofit museum on Cleveland's North Coast Harbor that celebrates the music that connects us all. It opened its I.M. Pei-designed building on September 2, 1995, after Cleveland won the site over New York, San Francisco, Memphis and Chicago.

Its mission is to engage, teach and inspire through the power of rock and roll. Beyond its exhibits on the artists and music that have endured, the Rock Hall hosts live performances, film screenings and fan experiences, and runs education and community programs across Northeast Ohio.
