Urban Planting

Urban Planting Cleveland is a plant shop and interior plant business with the mission "plants for everyone": helping customers choose the right plant for the right space in their home, office or business. Elio Calabrese founded it in 2017 after years in different parts of the interior plant industry. It started with grow lights in a basement and pop-up shops at events around the city, opened its first small storefront on Clifton Boulevard in 2019, and then moved to a larger shop at 2410 Scranton Road in Tremont.

Besides the shop, Urban Planting installs and cares for plants in more than 20 Cleveland businesses, rents plants for events, makes custom moss artwork and runs a growing wholesale operation.
