Bio

Aimon Ali is a fashion entrepreneur, runway show producer, stylist and creative director based in Cleveland. Born in Pakistan and raised in Canada, she spent years producing fashion events in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and Vancouver, including Men's Fashion Week and Startup Fashion Week in Toronto, before moving to Cleveland in 2019.

She found the city full of talented creatives but short on outlets for elevated fashion, so in 2020 she founded Fashion Talks to bring elevated, inclusive and diverse fashion events to Cleveland. Her first show in 2021 filled a MidTown warehouse. Her annual show, The Runway, has since been staged at the Cleveland Museum of Art, Severance Hall and, in June 2026, on Euclid Avenue under the Playhouse Square chandelier, where it drew more than 1,700 people. Its nonprofit arm, the Fashion Talks Foundation, supports diverse and emerging designers, models and students through The Runway, The Forum panel series in Cleveland and New York, and an internship cohort. Fashion Talks also offers event production and brand-building services, and Ali co-founded the bookkeeping firm Accounting Babes. In 2026 the City of Cleveland honored her for her work elevating fashion in Northeast Ohio.
