Jean Angus

Jean Angus is a business leader with more than 25 years of global experience in strategy, manufacturing, supply chain, innovation and R&D. She is a former division president at Saint-Gobain, the French materials company. As president and CEO of its Life Sciences Division from 2018 to 2022, she and her team delivered double-digit growth and improved profitability.

She joined Saint-Gobain in 2011 as director of innovation processes, leading a company-wide effort to build the skills and processes that let employees drive transformative growth. As general manager of Engineered Sealing Components she put those lessons into practice, taking the business from 2% to 8% growth in three years. Her work has spanned biopharmaceutical, medical, aerospace, automotive and industrial markets.

Crain's Cleveland Business named her a Notable in Manufacturing (2022) and an Innovation Leader (2014), and the Manufacturing Institute honored her with its Women Make America award (2020). She holds a master's in business and environmental management from the University of Findlay and a bachelor's in biochemistry from Auburn University.
