Bio

Jing Lyon is a Cleveland engineer and entrepreneur who works to grow clean-energy startups in Ohio. She joined BRITE Energy Innovators, the energy technology incubator in Warren, in 2022 as Director of Entrepreneur Programs, later became its managing director, and led the organization as interim CEO in 2025 while its board searched for a permanent leader.

A chemical engineer trained at Case Western Reserve University, she was an early team member at battery startup Stratum Energy Systems and founded EcoSpinners, an electric bicycle company in Cleveland.
