Michael Fox

Michael Fox is the founder and managing partner of Zorro Capital, a boutique investment firm he launched in 2015 to match owners of small and midsize manufacturing and distribution companies with up-and-coming entrepreneurs. The firm helps Midwest business owners pass their companies to a new generation of managers, pairing capital with mentoring and long-term advice, and its work has led to a number of ownership transitions across the region.

A Cleveland native, Fox brings more than 20 years of business management experience in manufacturing, software development, procurement, marketing, economic development and executive leadership, and he has bought seven businesses himself. His first acquisition, Ohio Travel Bag, came with valuable mentoring from an investment banker friend. That experience shaped his goal of making a business sale more than a transaction: helping entrepreneurs thrive through capital, knowledge and advice. He is also an advocate for Northeast Ohio regional development and an active real estate investor.
