Cleveland Foundation Creative Fusion

Creative Fusion is the Cleveland Foundation's international artist residency program. It brings accomplished artists from cultures that are not well represented in Cleveland for long-term residencies hosted by cultural and educational institutions across Greater Cleveland, among them the Beck Center for the Performing Arts, Young Audiences of Northeast Ohio and Zygote Press. Visiting artists teach classes and workshops, work alongside local artists and keep making and sharing their own work.

In 2019 the program gathered artists and researchers around the 50th anniversary of the Cuyahoga River fire. Its 2020 residency hosted artists from Latin America and Cleveland making new work in Clark-Fulton, Brooklyn Centre and the Stockyards to support civic engagement during the census and the election.
