Philomena Bake Shop

Philomena Bake Shop is a gluten-free and vegan baking company in Cleveland that bakes everything from scratch from original recipes. It was founded on the idea that everyone should be able to find joy in a baked good, and it is committed to ingredient transparency and to accommodating food allergies.

Owner Caitlin Shea has baked professionally for more than twenty years in Toronto, Ottawa and Cleveland. She later turned the business fully gluten-free and vegan. The shop is named for its two founders' fathers, both named Phil. Philomena bakes custom orders for individuals and wholesale partners around the city, and now has a storefront bakery at 5324 Fleet Ave. in Slavic Village.
